Looking for a part time experienced cafe supervisor ( 1 year or more )

**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and manage all aspects of the café operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Oversee food production and preparation, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize profitability
- Create and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and supplies
**Skills**:
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Experience in bartending or beverage service is a plus
- Understanding of hospitality principles to deliver exceptional customer service
- Culinary background or training is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
About Nettle:
Nettle promote all things wellbeing. We want to bring Birkenhead quality food, coffee and support the local well-being community and farmers
We do not support industrial livestock farming. We source majority of our ingredients locally from farms that strive to produce naturally healthy food. We support food production which works with nature as much as possible, restores our environment and builds soil.
We have a retail section for local makers to sell their produce, a small second hand book shop.
We also run events and do external catering.
