**Overall Job Purpose**

The Clinician Associate will be responsible for the execution of a variety of clinician management functions, including clinician fee negotiation, contracting, clinician recognition, and investigating clinician related complaints. Engagement with, and contracting of clinicians is super important to help us build strong clinician relationships.

The Associate will drive forward our innovative clinician service, they will understand all team functions from the ground up and provide an outstanding service.

The Associate will report to the Team Manager, and work within the Clinician Management Team to ensure we are getting the best quality and value for our members. They will maintain excellent working relationships with all business areas, whilst recognising the needs of the clinicians providing our medical treatment.

**Accountabilities**
- Provide a professional standard of service for our clinicians, who we fund to provide care for our members
- Carry out administrative team functions using our systems and Microsoft Office
- Maintain excellent working relationships with all business areas, whilst recognising the needs of clinicians
- Achieve set targets for productivity and quality
- Assist clinicians by addressing their requests and resolving queries
- Actively contribute towards the overall development of the team and department
- Deal with difficult conversations, maintaining a positive attitude and promoting the company

**Skills Required**:
Essential
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Ability to work from home, learn and receive training virtually
- PC literate with excellent knowledge of Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A desire to self-develop in all areas pertinent to the role

Desirable
- Private medical insurance business knowledge or experience
