Supplier Quality Lead

(Permanent)

Supplier Quality Lead needed for a highly reputable, multinational defence and aerospace organization based in Ampthill. My client is looking for a driven and experienced Supplied Parts Lead with experience of managing supplier quality issues and team management.

**The specific job role of the Supplier Quality Lead**:
For this role in particular the Supplier Quality Lead will need to:

- Point of contact for all supplied parts issues reporting to the programme quality manager
- Attend and support key metrics/stakeholder meetings
- Populate/Plan/Execute reporting (down/up) including supplier quality non-conformance and goods-in inspection metrics
- Manage and support road block removal
- Allocation of suppliers to the supplier quality engineering team
- Identify and implement continuous improvement actions and opportunities
- Manage effective team deployment
- Provide cover on peak demand and absences across the team

**What experience the Supplier Quality Lead will require**:

- Experience of managing supplier quality issues
- Team management
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Experience of MS Office tools
- Analysis of data and ability to make decisions based on that data
- Knowledge of SAP
- Experience of ISO9001/AS9000
- Experience of defence/aerospace environments
