Here at Lostock Grove Rest Home our lovely team are looking for an Activity Coordinator to join them within the home. We are located in Leyland and provide high quality, personalised care for our residents - some of which are living with dementia and related conditions.

In this job role you will enjoy getting to know the residents and engaging with them to create special memories and help ensure that stimulating activities are offered to all residents.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Organizing activities that are suited to each residents individual needs and providing stimulating group activities to bring the residents together.
- Booking external entertainment.
- Providing additional support for those who struggle to participate in activities.
- Working with NAPA to provide effective activities for residents
- Documenting and evidencing activities for families and CQC (care quality commission)

**Qualification and skills**:

- previous experience in a similar role or care environment is desirable.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Strong organisation and planning skills.

Hours: 25 Hours per week (Monday to Friday - 10:00AM/3:00PM
