City of London School is an independent day school for boys in the heart of the City of London and the Sunday Times named us as London Independent Secondary School of the Year in 2020. The School occupies fine, modern buildings near St. Paul's Cathedral overlooking the Thames and opposite the Tate Modern.

We are seeking to appoint a Front of House Supervisor to join our vibrant and passionate support staff team. The Front of House Supervisor will be a highly motivated and efficient ambassador for the school and will be the first point of contact for all staff, students, and visitors to the premises. The Front of House Supervisors are responsible for maintaining a professional front-of-house service, answering, and directing switchboard calls, and dealing with face-to-face queries. They support with administration duties across the school and are key to ensuring the safety, well-being, and safeguarding of our pupils.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- To provide a high-quality, professional front-of-house service in line with CLS's and the City of London Corporation's values, and within the school administration team.
- Act as a front-line officer with regard to safeguarding at the School, ensuring that visitors to the School have had any relevant checks undertaken and generally ensuring that School and Corporation policies in this regard, utilising knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE) and the relevant ISI guidelines.
- Report and record any safeguarding concerns that arise out of any of the duties of the job, in accordance with any relevant School or corporate policies and statutory and other regulations.
- Operating the School switchboard and absentee line.
- Greeting, registering, and welcoming visitors at Reception, whilst maintaining the record of staff, visitors and contractors signing in and out of the building.
