**About The Job**
The Auditor is a key member of the Quality department at Medik8, and this newly defined role will be critical in upholding product quality and compliance across our supply base. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will devise, implement and execute the supplier auditing plan.
Other key responsibilities include conducting thorough audits of supplier facilities and reviewing processes and documentation to ensure alignment with Medik8's standards. This is a unique opportunity to create and drive the vision and strategy for supplier auditing. Your focus will be to work collaboratively across functions, prioritising the audit regime, developing best practice, influencing key stakeholders and being an ambassador for Medik8’s customer-centric culture.
This will support the evolution and scalability of our business and will allow us to achieve incredible levels of output. This role will be based at our Innovation Centre in Aylesbury and you must be able to travel to our supplier sites.
**In more detail your role will include:
- Performing audits according to your supplier auditing program for key external suppliers.
- Responsible for, and leading, the supplier audit process, ensuring timely reporting, observation and audit closure.
- Working with external suppliers for the CAPA implementation, risk assessment and driving continuous improvement progress supply chain sustainability.
- Working with Supply Chain to make the supplier qualification process value-adding, and robust. Collaboratively reviewing supplier questionnaires and supplier quality agreements.
- Proactively communicating with the Supply Chain team to ensure the Supplier Monitoring programme is adhered to, and includes audit output.
- Act as SME for all supplier and internal audit-related issues. Assist with Supplier related deviations, when needed, driving CAPAs through to closure.
- Own and maintain the internal audit schedule Perform internal audits, leading the internal audits, ensuring timely reporting, observation and audit closure.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and effectiveness systems and process is in place Involvement in adhoc Quality projects.
**Requirements:
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics/skincare, food industries, or another highly regulated industry.
- Significant Auditing experience, internal or external.
- Proficiency in the development and execution of supplier auditing systems. Working knowledge/experience of FDA regulations and ISO standards such as 9001, 22716, (Cosmetics GMP).
- Solid I.T skills, including the use of standard I.T suites.
- Excellent social skills: ability to build and be a great partner with internal and external customers. Strong communication levels, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem solving ability.
