Hays is proud to be working with a local Chartered Accountancy firm who have grown from strength to strength over the past few years. With a small team offering expertise in Accounts, Business Advisory and Tax, the firm provides a comprehensive service to itsclients, and is committed to building and maintaining relationships. Due to the continued demand of workload, the opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join their team has become available.
**Your new role**
In your new role, you will be directly supporting with monthly and quarterly bookkeeping duties using Xero. This role will provide you with opportunities to manage the preparation of statutory accounts from trial balance and managing tax return preparations.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed, you will hold a formal qualification that may include a HND, AAT qualified or equivalent experience. You will understand accounts preparation and previous experience within a professional practice will be advantageous for your success. You willdemonstrate good numerical and data analysis skills, be organised in the ability to cope with multiple responsibilities within tight deadlines and take ownership.
