We are currently recruiting for a temporary Engagement Grants and Projects Coordinator for a centrally based Oxford University Department, starting asap on a full-time basis.

The Engagement Grants and Projects Coordinator will be a key part of the University’s departments. You will deliver and enable several high-profile engagement activities that support our vision to embed high-quality and innovative public and community engagement as an integral part of research culture and practice. You will work with, and on occasion deputise for, the Head of Public and Community Engagement, and collaborate with colleagues within the team and across the wider University to enhance Oxford’s position as a world-leading research institution.

The successful applicant will be responsible for
- delivering capacity-building grants schemes such as the Public and Community Engagement with Research (PCER) Culture Change Fund, PCER Seed Fund and Knowledge Exchange Seed Fund
- managing, with Innovation & Engagement (I&E) colleagues, high-profile events and conferences
- working to agreed objectives and tasks, and plan and manage their own workload to meet deadlines
- developing new activity and programmes that support our ambition to grow public and societal engagement activity across the University
