We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Events Assistant to play an integral part in the day-to-day co-ordination of high-profile events and on the day event management.

You will be based at our state-of-the-art facility near Coventry and will ensure that all events, whether in person, virtual or hybrid, run smoothly.

As a confident communicator, you will feel at ease liaising with clients, from the initial contract to help with the coordination of their event and will ensure that all relevant stakeholders have copies of the necessary requirements, such as catering and AV. You will arrange the meeting spaces and adhere to the client brief and work closely with the other departments to set up any additional equipment (such as AV set up) whilst adhering to all H&S and manual handling procedures. As an ambassador for AMTC, you will be the main point of contact for any queries on the day and ensure that all delegates are welcomed in a friendly and professional manner.

With experience of arranging corporate events, you will be accustomed to coordinating a variety of events. You’ll be self-motivated and will be able to manage several tasks simultaneously, adapting to any sudden changes in the priorities and will demonstrate a flexible approach to work. With team management / supervisory experience, you will be accustomed to leading a team and supporting individuals.
