Our much-loved products are manufactured in-house and an exciting opportunity has arisen in our super lovely Manufacturing site as an **Operations Compliance Operative**.

The purpose of the Operations Compliance is to ensure the daily compliance of manufacturing operations and adherence to all GMP and quality checks required within the manufacturing areas. The following duties are a guide but are not exhaustive. The Operations Compliance is responsible for ensuring that the correct activities have taken place and not for conducting the activity. E.g. transferring the correct stock between areas is done by an Operative; ensuring that the stock is checked for conformance is done by the Operations Compliance.

We have 1 position available on each of the following shifts:
Monday to Friday 06.00am - 14.30pm
Monday to Friday 14.30pm - 11.00pm

**In more detail your role will include**:
**Blending**
- **Materials Component checks** - **part numbers, description, batch numbers, expiry dates, weight checks, scale verifications.****:

- **Equipment checks**:

- visual inspections, GMP checks, verifications, calibrations.
- **In process controls** - line clearance, ph testing, viscosity checks, specific gravity, visual checks, odour, temperature, speed.
- **Conformity sign-off**:

- PH, viscosity, specific gravity, visual, odour

**Production**
- Material component checks, accepting products onto the line ensuring that part number, LOT, expiry date and quantity match the allocated stock on the
system - part number, description, expiry date.
- Equipment checks, ensuring that cleandown activities have occurred and that the line clearance has been adequately followed - visual checks, GMP, hygiene.
- In process control: completion of all in process checks. For example, but not limiting to: manufacturing order LOT, finished product LOT number, finished product expiry date, density determination, weight checks, Capping torque -capping process, heat shrink sleeve quality - applied and melted, labelling
- tolerance and quality, cartoning and packing quality, crimp seal quality.
- GMP activities are being followed by all personnel in the manufacturing areas.
Any suspected non-conformance is raised to a Team Leader and a Deviation
raised if necessary.

**We are looking for the following...**
- At least 1 year experience in manufacturing
- At least 1 year experience in quality control/compliance
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure, and to deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a small team.
