**Occupational Pension Scheme Member Engagement Specialist**
**Glasgow**

As a Barclays Occupational Pension Scheme Member Engagement Specialist, you will have an opportunity to focus on member engagement and communication aspects of the Barclays UK retirement fund (UKRF). By joining the UKRF member operations team, you will be assisting the Director of member operations and develop and implement an innovative communication and engagement strategy designed to enhance the interaction with UKRF members. This is an exciting chance to focus on improving existing methods and identifying new opportunities.

**What will you be doing?**
- Developing and maintaining a member engagement strategy designed to enhance the engagement of UKRF members
- Developing an engagement model in line with that strategy that ensures members get the clear information they need, at the time they need it
- Focusing on solutions that give members choice of how to interact with the UKRF’s administrator, with a bias towards increased digitisation and self-service
- Designing and implementing methods to measure the quality of our communications and member engagement
- Leading the production of the member focused communications and disclosure items and the communication aspects of other projects that arise across the UKRF
- Identifying areas for improvement in our both member interactions and communication material
- Establishing and developing membership feedback channels
- Managing relationships and liaising with internal and external parties as required

**What we’re looking for**:

- Extensive experience of working in a communications role within an occupational pension scheme environment
- Detailed knowledge and experience of communicating relevant changes to current and historic UK pensions legislation, regulatory requirements and developments
- Experience of designing key documentation essential to the effective governance of UK trust based pension funds such as annual disclosures, member communications etc
- Excellent stakeholder and management skills with experience dealing with senior management

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience of working with online communications such as websites and online portals
- Self-motivated, resourceful, organised and proactive with proven capability to deliver to plan
