Senior Textile Operator

They are currently looking for a Supervisor to join their manufacturing team.

**Job Role**
- The role is to run a varied selection of industrial têxtile machines at the maximum efficiency.
- The role is not only to supervise operators but also to work on machinery; hands-on experience is essential.
- Mechanical skills are essential; for example, Changing one product to another on the machines.
- The person will need to be physically fit as lifting is required in the job.
- Ensuring all products you manufacture are of a high quality.
- Inputting of production into a stock control computer system.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
- Once trained you will be required to train other trainees when required.

**Specific items**
- Co-operation and communication with the site manager and other factory floor staff
- Monitoring manufactured product and reporting faults found.

**Qualifications and requirements**
- Basic computer and I.T skills
- Textile Experience
- Health and safety qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Mechanically minded.
- Good communication skills
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the manufacturing environment
- Counter Balance fork truck licence.

**Hours**

This role is working Monday - Wednesday 6:30am-6:30pm (12 hour shifts). 36 hours per week+

Please note, overtime may be required Thursdays and is paid at an overtime rate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.13 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
