**About The Role**: XS8.4b Admin Officer (Part-time)
Salary: Dorset Grade 6 (£12.39/hr)** Actual salary £8,369**
15 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Term time only including all staff training days
Due to the current postholder’s change of role, we are looking for a well-organised part-time Admin Officer to join our friendly and experienced Admin team, primarily supporting the work of the SENCO and Learning Support Department in all aspects of administration.
- Updating the SEND register and other record keeping
- Ensuring all person centred review paperwork is carried out and submitted on time
- Minuting Review and other meetings as required
- Typing, updating and arranging Provision Map reviews
- Liaising with staff, parents, the Local Authority and other stakeholders as necessary
- Dealing with situations of a sensitive nature
- Sending letters and reports to parents/carers and outside agencies
- Assisting with ordering books and equipment for the department as required.
Whilst every effort has been made to explain the main duties and responsibilities of this post the school requires a can-do attitude and flexibility in all of its employees. As a member of our Admin Team you will be required to perform a range of other administrative tasks as and when necessary to support and ensure the smooth running of the school.
**Further Information**:
The pro rata salary shown is based on the number of hours and weeks worked and includes appropriate paid annual leave and bank holiday entitlements.
The salary quoted is the annual salary for the position at the time of advert. The salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment and again if leaving part way through the school year to ensure the correct salary is received for the work completed in an academic year.
This role is UK based and your Right to Work will need to be established as part of the appointment process.
