Marketing Executive

My client is looking for a strong team player and self-starter, able to confidently engage at all levels with ease. Organised and tenacious, with great project management, time management and analytical skills and strong verbal and written communicationskills. You will ideally have previous trade marketing experience of at least 2-3 years.

The role entails assisting the Retail Marketing Manager, focused on trade marketing, working across a wide range of marketing and in store projects to support a large network of UK and International retailers serving the home, furniture, and bed markets,including market research, product launches, promotions, merchandising, training and event management.

Duties to include:

- Develop a formal set of research programmes to identify and analyse customer needs / behaviour, customer satisfaction, market trends and drivers, consumer profiles.
- Help identify the changing size, structure and growth of the industry across retail and hospitality markets. Develop understanding of the needs and dynamics of different channels and market segments, including our regional market share and spatial penetration
- Liaise with the Product team to manage the timely communication of new products
- Assist with the introduction and launch of new products. Ensure product information and training guides have been created, checked and shared
- Liaise with agencies to manage the co-ordinated development of aspects of branding, marketing communications and publicity.
- Ensure efficient and timely 'event / exhibition management’ including all aspects of supplying products, marketing collateral, stand design and build
- Support trade sales promotions and competitions with a creative and analytical approach
