About the Role

We are growing our Project Management Office and looking to add a PMO Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to support the current PMO Practice in optimising the Project Management Office's activities within Enterprise Change. We seek a project management professional with excellent communication and organisational planning skills. You should be advanced in MS projects or MI reporting.

You will support our largest complex programmes often liaising with our most senior delivery professionals and stakeholders and collaborate with various departments to ensure successful project execution and continuous improvement of project management practices

Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Produce daily reports to support the estimating and Inception processes ensuring SLAs and key milestones are adhered to
- Updating and quality-checking outputs and activities
- Providing accurate and timely reporting, internally and externally, and ensuring that appropriate management information is available on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, or as appropriate
- Track and report on the status of agreed changes and projects based on updates from change owners, programme managers or project managers including independent reviews and audits
- Provide regular and scheduled reports to the management team to support effective decision-making
- Ensure standards, tools and the enterprise framework are followed and processes that support the improvement of the programme and project management are understood and shared
- Working with change teams to maintain risks, actions, issues and dependencies (RAID) log. Ensuring all items have an owner and updates are reported on regularly, including identifying, tracking and managing dependencies and conflicts across programmes and projects, escalating where necessary to ensure effective resolution
- Maintain records of effort spent and remaining on the project for all activities and work streams
- Weekly and monthly project status reporting and chasing
- Timesheet and time tracking
- Resource allocation & burndown tracking
- Project/Programme plan reviews, meeting facilitation and support

Key Requirements:

- Strong MS project planning or MI reporting experience.
- Experience in the financial industry.
- Proven experience in PMO, including supporting the delivery of complex projects and programs.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organisational levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
