We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Customer Service Sales Person to join us here at Jewson. This role will be working with Jewson, **Dagenham**

**This is a permanent full-time position.**

**You would be working at the branch Monday to Friday 7:00am-16:30pm and 8:00am-12:00pm every other Saturday.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, driving sales, building strong and lasting relationships through excellent service and product knowledge
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly, providing accurate information and guidance on our product range, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
- Identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions, upselling and cross-selling products to maximize sales opportunities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our internal systems
- Proactively follow up on quotations, leads, and sales opportunities to achieve sales targets
- Collaborate with the external sales team to provide seamless customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market
- Actively contribute to sales meetings, sharing customer feedback, and suggesting improvements to enhance the sales process
- Maintain accurate and organized customer records, including contact details, order history, and communication logs

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a sales role within the builders merchant industry or a related field is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and understand their requirements
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
