These are the 5Ps: Putting people first Prioritising quality Being progressive, innovative and continually improve Being professional and honest Promoting what is possible independence, opportunity and choice The Senior Employment Advisor will work alongside Psychological Therapists within NHS Talking Therapies Barking & Dagenham service, providing employment support to service users experiencing mild-moderate mental health problems, who are currently unemployed and who wish to return to work.The post holder will provide supervision and line management to a team of Employment Advisors who are offering support to service users and are delivering the employment programme. The post holder will retain a small caseload of clients in addition to their line management responsibilities.The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and may be called upon to work in various community settings The post holder will regularly monitor and review the effectiveness of the Employment Support programme and make improvements as and when required to ensure it is meeting the needs of the service user, it is achieving its KPI targets, and working in consistent with trust policies. The post holder to follow and implement guidance provided by the NHS Talking Therapies Barking & Dagenham Senior Management team.
