Remodel and Merchandising Co-ordinator

We are recruiting for a Remodel and Merchandising Co-ordinator to join our Facilities and Store Development Team.
This is a three month secondment and the role will be field-based and will involve travelling across the UK.
As a Remodel and Merchandising Coordinator, you will report to the Remodel and Merchandising Lead Co-ordinator and you play a crucial part in supporting the mobilisation of Poundland new store merchandising and business transformation projects for new and existing stores.
Strong working relationships are critical to this role and you will be working cross functionally with the retail field team, Store Managers, and external agencies.
Due to the nature of the role, there will be an expectation to work 11-hour shifts, including day and nights
- Nights - Monday to Thursday between the hours of 7 pm -7 am
- Days - Monday to Friday between the hours of 7 am - 8 pm
This role comes with the ability to study Facilities Services Operative Level 2 qualification, through an apprenticeship.
**What you'll be doing...**
A typical day working as a Remodel and Merchandising Co-ordinator will include:
- Responsible for the Merchandising of each store project as guided by the Remodelling & Merchandising Project Manager
- Overseeing teams onsite to ensure timescales are achieved
- Ensuring all orders are placed and available in time
- Oversee all store deliveries and allocations
- Working to visual merchandise planograms using space layout plans
- Ensuring all correct pricing and point of sale using the correct equipment and process are in place.

To be successful, you will need:
- Previous retail experience at supervisory or managerial level
- Exposure of supporting new store opening and refits
- Confident in leading and working with internal and external teams
- Full clean UK driving licence and confidence in driving a small company van
- Commercial awareness
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload
- Confidence and resilience under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shift patterns, including nights
- Self-motivation with the ability to work on own initiative.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: Up to £28,000.00 per year
