**Business Support Officer**

Grade or equivalent: £22,464 (pro rata for 21 hours equals £13,478.39)

Hours: 21 Hours per week/ 3 days must be flexible

Location: Greater Manchester

Responsible to: Supported Employment Contract Manager

Additional: Must be a driver and have use of a car for business purposes.

**Role Purpose**:
**Core Responsibilities**:
Business Support
- To attend initial meetings alongside our employment specialists and assist with onboarding new referrals into service.
- Input the referral, initial meeting information on to the eclipse database in a timely manner.
- To extract data and effectively report, giving suggestions with regards to implementing positive change to the way we work.
- Record and update spreadsheets with contract information.
- Audit access to work paperwork and rectifying any issues identified quickly.
- Invoicing Access to work for any support delivered.
- Checking remittances and updating the relevant trackers.
- Processing monthly/weekly time sheets for staff on the ESM team and updating the relevant spreadsheets.

Administration & IT
- To manage any referrals, ensuring they are quickly responded to and booked in for an initial assessments.
- To create and update spreadsheets in Excel to capture and track data accurately and effectively.
- Word processing correspondence, reports, minutes of meetings and typing up flip charts to agreed deadlines.
- To plan, organise and carry out any work to strict deadlines including the prioritisation of own workload in accordance with management instructions.
- Problem solving and good analytical skills.
- Proficiency in IT to keep and maintain accurate records through the use of the Eclipse database and relevant written documentation.
- To work towards reporting deadlines as outlined by the Contract Manager

Training
- Commitment to personal development and ongoing learning.
- Attend all mandatory Pure Innovations training.

Flexibility
- The post holder must be a driver and have use of a car which can be used for business purposes.

Teamwork & Partnership
- Attend and participate in regular meetings and training events, which develop the service or improve team performance.
- Assist the Programme Manager in facilitating group meetings
- Working together to achieve outcomes.
- Offer support and advice to colleagues.
- Providing support to our subcontractor and any business partners as required.

**Qualifications and training**
- Excellent knowledge and use of I.T. including MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheets etc.
- The post holder must be a driver and have use of a car which can be used for business purposes.
- Understanding of supported employment

**Experience**
- Ability to complete administration tasks with excellent attention to detail, whilst adhering to and meeting deadlines.
- An effective team worker.
- A professional, smart appearance and presentation.
- Previous experience implementing systems to capture data effectively.
- Experience or knowledge of working with people who have disabilities and the barriers they may face when accessing employment.

**Knowledge**
- Confident in creating spreadsheets to track both qualitative and quantitative data for reporting purposes.
- Previous experience working in a Business Support role.

**Skills**
- Organisational skills, to complete access to work paperwork within the required timeframe.
- Excellent attention to detail to identify errors and track quality and compliance across service delivery.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to self-motivate, plan and prioritise own workload.
