**Employment Coach**

**Covering Birmingham and Solihull or the Black Country (whichever is closet to where you reside)**

**Permanent Position. Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm = 37.5 hours per week.**

Salary is £23,840 to £28.043 per annum (dependent upon experience)

25 days holiday + stats with option to purchase additional annual leave.

3.5 days paid annual leave for Christmas.

2 days paid per annum for volunteering work.

**Duties**
- We are seeking an Employment Coach for the Find Your Future ESF Project to equip unemployed and economically inactive adults with the skills and support they need, to take advantage of training, volunteering, and employment opportunities
- Embedded in the local community, you will work with a caseload of participants to provide employability support to help them to overcome barriers and achieve realistic job goals
- Working as part of a team
- Engage and support the progression of participants on a caseload basis, to understand their goals, create an action plan, meet regularly, carry out proactive job searches, access skills training and signpost to other local services
- To undertake outreach activity within the local community, build relationships with local stakeholders and agencies in the area to generate referrals and create working partnerships
- Meeting personal and team targets and KPI’s.
- Ensuring adherence to the company equality and diversity policy.
- Building relationships to generate referrals.
- Maintain awareness of employment opportunities available in the area and conduct targeted job search activities
- Attend meetings
- Meeting and supporting the participant through their journey and monitoring their progress.
- Promoting benefits of accessing employment.
- Assessing support needs of participant.

**Experience required**
- Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
- Must have experience as an Employment Coach or Advisor or similar
- Understanding of the client group and the barriers they face
