Wells & Co have a fantastic new opportunity to join the people team as a Hospitality Trainer.

We are looking for a hands-on, passionate, and forward-thinking individual to implement and drive drinks quality, pub standards and cellar management across our 30 managed house businesses.

As the ambassador of embedding high standards to create amazing guest experiences, we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who is confident and engaging, and will inspire and motivate when delivering training sessions. You will enable outstanding performance delivered through exceptional colleague learning experiences with a focus on culture, capability, quality, organizational effectiveness, and continuous learning & development.

This is a remote role that requires a large amount of travel as our pubs are stretched across the Northern home counties and therefore we are looking for someone who lives close to patch.

**The Role**:

- To support the L&D Director through the creation and delivery of a robust training program across our expanding pub estate
- Work closely with Operations Managers to ensure our people are trained in delivering in a customer centric environment
- Create operational manuals, policies and procedures
- Delivery of Cask & Keg best practise training
- Delivery of Cellar Management training and audits
- Demonstrate best practice and standards of service (such as perfect serve, table service etc).
- Continue to drive a culture of performance management and talent recognition that is established and embedded throughout the business
- Deliver training workshops across the wider business (including, but not limited to Induction & onboarding)
- Explore & implement new & innovative ideas to ensure that training programmes are always engaging, interactive and cutting edge.
- Create an inclusive culture where all colleagues feel supported to work at their best

**What expertise we need from you**
- BII Accredited trainer
- Experienced training professional with a strong background working directly within the hospitality sector
- Proven experience and a deep understanding of adult learning techniques using a blend of learning solutions
- Experience of identifying key capability gaps and building interventions and integrating into learning & development plan
- Comfortable coaching 1-1, facilitating small and large groups of delegates and not fearful of giving constructive feedback
- Strong knowledge of LMS and digital content creation with a view to bring a more creative and tech-based approach to learning
- An energetic, interactive trainer and confident presenter, who can successfully engage the audience
- Charismatic with the ability to build rapport effortlessly
- Driven to achieve results and have a strong commercial awareness
- Excellent facilitation skills, creative, innovative, inspirational and a strong influencer
