Sheridan Maine, on behalf of a thriving Bristol-based SME, is seeking a dedicated and skilled part-time Accounts Administrator to join its busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for finance and administration to contribute to the growth of a successful organisation.
As the Accounts Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of financial processes. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various aspects of accounting and administration.
**Your responsibilities as the Accounts Administrator will include**:
- Processing invoices
- Reconciling supplier accounts
- Performing payment runs
- Raising invoices
- Matching payments
- Preparing debtor reports
- Posting transactions to Xero
- Preparing end of day cash for banking
**To be considered for the position of Accounts Administrator, you will require**:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an accounting or finance department
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Xero or other cloud-based accounting system is advantageous
**Working Hours**:
- Permanent, part time, 3 days per week
- Flexible/hybrid working available
- Salary circa £25k prorated
