The Afan Lodge is a well-established and highly regarded hotel located in picturesque Afan Valley. Its hotel is popular with cyclists and walkers looking to explore the beautiful area. **Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Deal with any reasonable requests from guests in a professional manner.
- Greet and assist late-night arrivals.
- Complete the relevant check-lists including end-of-shift reports.
- Assist with the correct service of Restaurant/Bar menu and beverages.
- Ensure good level of product and local knowledge for guests when requested.
- Ensure that high standards of cleanliness and service are achieved in all areas.
- Ensure co-operation and compliance with all legislation relevant to your role such as fire safety.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, addressing any potential hazards prompty.
- Preparation of conference rooms as detailed on function sheets and Company brand standards.
- Conduct 3 safety floor checks per night.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**
- Previous night-shift experience.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating responsibility and reliability.
- Works calmly under pressure.
- Excellent organisation and attention-to-detail, especially during security checks.
- Physical ability to move around the premises, conduct patrols and assists with light lifting.
- Great customer service and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
