- To coordinate and provide support and information in the running of safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve the operational standards and defined outcomes for your area of responsibility during shift
- Responsible for the execution of transport plans ensuring transport and network SLA's/KPI's are achieved
- FLM's are front and centre of the transport operation demonstrating 21st century driver engagement and management
- In addition to being a duty manager the FLM is a driver line manager ensuring the wellbeing, performance and motivation of their team through regular performance dialogues, scheduled 1-2-1's as well as ad-hoc communication and engagement
