**About our exciting opportunity**
This role is to support the finance team and carry out the following duties.
- Full responsibility of the Purchase ledger, including identifying aged and negative balances
- Processing and resolving all Build Partner invoicing queries
- Assist with yearly financial audits and ensure proper compliance with all audit regulations
- Daily review of Purchases inbox and handling all queries
- Match invoices to purchase orders and input to the system
- Processing of overhead invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Resolve all billing support tickets
- Maintain Sales Ledger - follow up and report on aged debt on a weekly basis, including referral of customers to small claims court where required
- Review failed/cancelled direct debit payments
- Prepare payment file for Customer Refunds
- Attend quarterly stock takes as required
- Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported
- Keep all financial functions confidential, accurate and up-to-date, in accordance with the deadlines set
- Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
- Help to create/improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assist with the general office duties as part of our team
- Provide assistance as requested by the Company from time to time

**Your skills and experience**
- AAT Part Qualified/Qualified
- Previous experience within a finance department
- Experience of Purchas Ledge and Sales Ledger

**Salary**: Up to £21,000.00 per year
