Our Founder and Chief Scientist is the former Chief Scientist for UNEP and Executive Director of the European Environment Agency. Our management team includes previous CEOs of global energy companies, heads of business development and technology at successful global data businesses and start-ups.

We are looking for an experienced, driven, and passionate marketing and communications professional with a strong desire to rapidly drive change at scale and make a positive impact on the world.

You enjoy leading the execution of marketing and branding campaigns; developing marketing plans; and analysing customer insights and trends.

Ours is a very exciting and rapidly evolving market, which requires creativity, a strategic mind, and the ability to manage tight deadlines.

We are looking for the right person so this role can be based anywhere within GMT+ or -3 although London would be preferable. We work out of the UK, Continental Europe, Australia, Canada, the Middle East, and Africa and all speak English fluently. This role reports into our Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer.

**What does the job involve?**
- Work with the chief development officer, regional heads, and country managers to develop and maintain Downforce Technologies’ marketing strategy ensuring that it is aligned with the company’s sales strategy
- Support regional and country managers in developing and maintaining a funnel marketing strategy
- In collaboration with regional and country managers, develop and manage an integrated digital marketing plan to support the promotion of the company’s webapp
- Gather insights to inform sales strategies and generate more qualified leads
- Prepare corporate publications, drafting and distributing statements, official comments, and media releases
- Represent Downforce at relevant events as required
- Maintain Downforce’s website in line with brand guidelines and sales strategy requirements

**What skills and experience do I need?**
- Proven success in developing and delivering marketing plans and campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CRM tools
- Ability to write effective and concise copy
- Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
- Established contacts in media
- Start-up / Scale-up experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business or related field
