**SCHOOL VACANCY**

Dringhouses Primary School is seeking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to start in September 2023 to work under the direction of the class teacher and support access to learning.

We’re looking for someone to work with one of our fantastic children here at Dringhouses Primary. We need someone fun, enthusiastic, with a great sense of humour, and someone who understands the importance of relationships - encouraging and modelling resilience, growth and repair.

Responsibilities will include working collaboratively with the teaching team to support delivery of the Dringhouses Discovery Curriculum in a more specialised small group/1:1 setting.

We’re looking for someone either with experience of the described role, and someone who can keep up with the demands of busy, and adventurous learners.

We can offer a friendly and supportive environment and team - people who you’ll enjoy working with, and children who need people like you to support them and help them to access the education that they deserve.

**Qualifications and experience required**:

- Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent
- Experience in a classroom environment, especially

supporting children within mainstream primary
- within the last 2 years
- Knowledge of the national primary curriculum
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan and organise and to use own initiative
- The ability to assist with assessment and monitoring of pupil progress
- Committed to maintaining high standards
- Flexible and a team player

This is a fixed term, full time, term time only contract until 31 August 2024, with the possibility of an extension thereafter.
