Boating Information Officer

Your responsibilities as a Boating Information Officer will include, but are not limited to:
- Act as a first point of contact for recreational boaters seeking advice. Provide a timely and accurate response to routine enquiries, and or direct to information available on the RYA website.
- Regularly review related RYA website content submitted for publication to ensure it remains accurate and is updated, where necessary.
- Monitor trends in enquiries and identify opportunities for social media posts, website news articles and content in the RYA magazine.
- Provide logístical, budgetary. and organisational support to the European Boating Association (EBA) so that it can function effectively.
- Attend EBA General Assembly meetings, when requested by the Secretary, to ensure the meetings run smoothly and take the minutes (recording actions, decisions and key points in discussions).
- Provide day-to-day support (externally and internally) for users of the RYA SafeTrx App including maintaining and updating the relevant guidance and resources available.
