Composite Boat Builder Opportunity

Pascoe International, a renowned manufacturer of award-winning Superyacht tenders, is seeking an experienced Composite Boat Builder to join their team. As part of their ongoing development plan, this role offers a unique chance to work on high-end projects and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture composite components using hand-laid, infusion, and prepreg materials
  • Design and create patterns for small components from 2D and 3D drawings
  • Construct and install internal and external structures, including custom composite components
  • Install equipment such as deck hardware, lifting components, and windows
  • Prepare surfaces for gel repair and painting, and perform basic painting processes
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues
  • Lead projects, planning work, checking information, and meeting timescales
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in new build GRP construction, polyester/vinylester, and epoxy
  • Marine qualifications desirable
  • Experience in high-quality new build, custom manufacturing, and Superyacht tender construction advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, planning own work and checking stock and information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
