The Role:
As a Warehouse and Forklift Operative you will be required to complete both warehouse and forklift duties. You will assist with the movement of stock into and out of the Warehouse. You will deliver results both with speed and accuracy ensuring we meet our customer demands whilst maintaining a high level of Health & Safety within the Warehouse.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support all day-to-day Warehouse tasks as required in all areas within the MEDC, including: Picking, Packing, Put away, Scanning. Checking inventories, Processing returns, Loading and unloading vehicles including the movement of pallets.
- Be responsible for achieving daily targets and meeting the Warehouse KPI’s.
- Ensure all products that leave the Warehouse meet Mulberry’s quality specifications.
- Ensure safe use of all equipment including the forklifts, escalating any breakdowns or issues to a member of Management immediately.
- Adhere to all Company Security and Health & Safety procedures, particularly, when using the forklift pallet trucks and forklifts.
- Responsible for the movement of pallets and goods safely and securely.
- Compliance and completion of the daily forklift checklist escalating any concerns to a member of Management and working collaboratively to find resolutions.
- Collobrating and supporting a variety of teams both internally and externally.
- Ensure the working area within MEDC is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Use of all MEDC technology including, hand scanners.
- Attendance and participation in Company training initiatives as and when instructed to develop skills.
- Carrying out additional duties and taking on extra responsibilities may be required for the effective operation of the MEDC.

Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Experience of working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to expand IT skills and adapt to new working practices is essential
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Happy to follow direction.
- Flexibility to work on a rota that includes bank holidays, weekends and Christmas.
