The Role:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the efficient receipt, storage and despatch of a range of goods. Responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, you'll manage people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and despatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.

- Managing warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision. Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations. Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision. Organising workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
- Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for company KPI’s.
- Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary plan future capacity requirements.
- Handling of confidential employee information, which will include note taking in confidential meetings (i.e. investigations, recorded conversations).
- Attend Meetings and conference calls staying updated with other areas of the business.
- Maintain daily hours of staff logging absences for the department covered.

Team:

- Hold daily morning meetings updating the team.
- Provide support to Warehouse Operatives within the area covering as trainer/mentor providing assistance.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Computer literate with knowledge of Manhattan.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent team working skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent Numeracy, oral and written communication skills.
- People management skills, including the ability to inspire, lead and motivate a team of people, delegate work and explain ideas.

Other:

- Flexibility to travel when required.
