We have an exciting opportunity for a **Claims Handler** to join our award-winning client based in Grantham, on a full time permanent basis.

**THE ROLE**

Your responsibilities as a **Claims Handler** will include:

- Processing, investigating and reviewing claims in a timely and professional manner
- Advising customers of the claims process and working to ensure the best outcome for all parties involved
- Reviewing claims against policies and authorising or denying claims based on cover provided
- Creating and maintaining accurate records, chasing quotations, updates from customers and updating CRM system
- Preparing invoices and dealing with outgoing payments
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, commercial customers, brokers and business partners where required
- Achieving personal targets and KPI’s
- General Administration tasks as required by the Claims Manager

**THE CANDIDATE**

The ideal **Claims Handler** will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

- Understanding of policy wording including benefits, exclusions, and claim limits
- Committed to providing excellent customer service
- Driven and Hard-working mentality within a busy fast passed environment
- Strong communication skills with literacy, numeracy, and IT competency
- Excellent eye for details
