DESCRIPTION

**The Mere Golf Resort & Spa** is a destination for business and pleasure set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Currently undergoing a multi-million pound refurbishment, the resort will be relaunched as Fairmont Cheshire - The Mere in 2025 following a major programme of works. We are currently expanding our dedicated Greenkeeping team and have an exciting opportunity for a **Seasonal** **Assistant Greenkeeper** in Knutsford.

As **Seasonal** **Assistant Greenkeeper**, you will have a vital role in ensuring our golf course is maintained to a championship standard. You will work on your own and as part of a team, be dedicated and thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you have a good work ethic, pride yourself on having high standards, are loyal and hardworking then you may well be suited to this role. Working under the direction of the Golf Course Manager, the Seasonal Assistant Greenkeeper will be responsible for the daily presentation of the course, project work and other aspects of maintenance that will improve and enhance the course.

Transferrable skills would be preferable, although full training will be provided so no previous experience is necessary.

- The ability to undertake daily turf maintenance and preparation to high standards
- To achieve a high level of attention to detail in all tasks undertaken

- To communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, members and guests
- To always maintain healthy and safe working practices

- An understanding of golf
- A keen interest in working outdoors
