Commercial Accountant (CIMA or ACCA studier)

£40,000 - £45,000 + suite of benefits

Are you looking to move away from core management accounting and month end humdrum and into a more commercial direction?

Are you interested in forward-looking accounting rather than simply 'keeping score’ each month?

This is a chance to join a hugely successful FTSE 250 group in a thriving large scale division. Your role is focused on added value activities, reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager you’ll be involved in partnering the commercial managersand directors.

It’s an interesting, challenging and varied role which would be a superb fit for someone working through CIMA (or ACCA). You’ll be involved in various projects alongside the business as usual analysis / reporting / business partnering.

It’s a genuine chance to make a difference and build a range of key achievements into your CV.

There is major scope to progress her (UK and internationally). You don’t need to be the finished article - attitude and enthusiasm are vital. You’ll have the advantage of excellent mentoring and support from a highly approachable head of commercial finance.

You need:

- Solid core management accounting skills and analytical ability.
- Confidence using Excel to interrogate financial data.
- A commercial mindset and good degree of common sense.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning new tasks and building new relationships across the business.
- Keenness to be in a commercially-focused finance role.
