Role Purpose:
To deliver assignments as allocated by the Risk and Audit Director and develop the Risk Management team in order to deliver the approved risk management plan.

Key Accountabilities:

- Collate relevant business issues from site reviews to identify new, developing or recurring areas of risk or weakness in order to assist in the preparation of the annual audit plan
- Manage the Risk Management Advisor’s in order to deliver the annual Risk Management plan as agreed by the Head of Risk Management
- Coach the Risk Management Advisor’s in framing recommendations identified by the work programme to maintain acceptance of findings by the business
- Identify areas for improving practice and share and agree action plans with both the Manufacturing Site and Functional management to promote mitigation of risk
- Implement the Group’s annual self-assessment programme to ensure the provision of timely and accurate completion of returns by sit
- Review the Site/Function risk registers to ensure that they have been updated in line with Group risk assessment process in order to provide a Group wide overview
- Manage and develop the Risk Management Advisors to ensure they obtain the relevant exposure and experience to facilitate their next move out of risk management

- Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post qualified experience
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Broad knowledge of all business processes
- Knowledge and experience of all aspects of Corporate governance
- Strong commercial background with clear understanding of fast paced businesses
- Good at developing business relationships with the ability to influence at all levels
- Self-motivated and able to work to tight and varied deadlines
- Strong analytical skills These may be trained or developed. These do not all need to be in place at recruitment.
