Our client is looking for a Technical Consultant to combine software skills with customer-facing activities. This is a full-time role based 2 days Eastleigh/3 days remote that comes with a generous salary of up to £40,000 p/a and a benefits package.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

- Write SQL database scripts and stored procedures, XML/XSL scripting and also configure complex software systems (training can be provided)
- Combine an understanding of customer requirements with a working knowledge of the Software platform in order to configure and script software solutions and change requests and implement these solutions to the customer base
- Be involved in configuring, unit testing and implementing solutions
- Providing user training and user acceptance testing support

To succeed in this Technical Consultant role, you will need to be a confident communicator and have a background in creating and implementing software solutions into a variety of customer or internal environments. You will also require the following:

- An aptitude for designing and crafting software solutions coupled with the desire to learn quickly
- Excellent personal skills - maturity, reliability, self-motivation and enthusiasm - coupled with great interpersonal, written and presentation skills
- Excellent customer service, quality and standards-focused skills
