Reporting to the Claims Supply Chain Manager the successful candidate, will have experience in a similar background within Home Insurance, loss adjusting Surveying and with Schedules of Rates, drying and restoration, subsidence and home suppliers.
As a Supply Chain Technical Lead, you will set technical standards, rate card pricing, audit and analysis across the home claims supply chain with a specific focus on loss adjusting, surveying, engineering, BRN, repair and scope. You will be the technical and improvement lead for our buildings suppliers, leading organic technical continuous improvement programme across the supply chain whilst providing technical support and referral assistance to the claim's operation, operational and senior leaders. Main Responsibilities as Supply Chain Technical Consultant:

Lead on Ageas' preferred repair/replace/reinstatement philosophy and ensure this is followed throughout supply chain.
Conducting live audits on repairs being undertaken by the Ageas Building Repair Network suppliers to aid performance management reward mechanisms and supplier governance requirements.
Devise, lead and roll out continuous improvement in supply chain.
Support thematic audits and supplier audits related to home claims.
To audit and review the schedules of rates proposed by suppliers where appropriate (Building Repair Networks, glazing suppliers)
Identify operational risks and reporting requirements.
Commercial control of schedules of rates and rate cards
Contribute to the planning and delivery of the claim's strategy.
Ensure fair treatment of customers and adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
Skills and experience you need as Supply Chain Technical Consultant

You will currently be working withing an Insurer home claims supply chain
Experience in insurance and/or financial services and construction industries
Understanding of principles of insurance and regulation in financial services
Multi GBPm insurance account management experience
Loss Adjusting, Surveying, DR&R field experience (operational and management) desirable
Future scope for line management of field and supply functions
