**BioWatt** are operators of anaerobic digestion/biogas plants which produce green electricity and renewable gas using organic matter from crops, food waste and other agricultural sources.

As part of a small team, the role involves taking responsibility for the reception and dispatch of all vehicles from a permitted waste site, as well as assisting the Site Manager with administration and purchasing requirements. The role offers plenty of variety and we can guarantee you won't be bored

**A typical day will consist of**:

- Checking waste transfer notes and paperwork for loads in and out
- Ensuring loads match the paperwork
- Handling paperwork for rejected loads
- Operating the site weighbridge and recording loads
- Ensuring all vehicles have been checked in before they enter site to tip
- Assisting with recording supplies received on site
- Communicating with the Operations Team to share knowledge and help problem solving

This is a full-time position which also includes availability for overtime if required. Initial contract term will be for 3 months.

**The following skills and experience are preferred but not essential**:

- Experience of waste transfer notes and EWC waste codes
- Use of weighbridge and recording software
- Smartphone and app use

**A full UK driving licence is required.**

A company phone and GPS lone working device are provided.

An individual training plan will be provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
