**Job role**: Weighbridge Operator/Administrator

**Location**:Ilkeston, Derbyshire

**Hours**: Monday - Friday 6:30am-5pm

**Salary**:£12.00ph

An opportunity has arose with our client based in Ilkeston as a Weighbridge Operator, you will serve as the central point of safety communications, security and directing customer activity within the facility.

**Please bare in mind the below requirements**:

- At LEAST 2 years experience is desirable
- Experience within the metal/waste recycling industry is desirable
- You MUST be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office proficiently to recording and monitor deliveries
- You MUST have excellent communication skills to collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and management
- You MUST have high attention to detail, to ensure that accurate and efficient weighing processes are followed at the weighbridge

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing and operating weighbridge systems to accurately measure and record weights (Being computer literate is a must)
- When fully trained as a Weighbridge Operator/Administrator, you will be expected to identify and addressing potential issues in the weighing process
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of weighbridge equipment
- Maintaining accurate records of weighbridge transactions
- Participating in safety protocols and staying informed about weighbridge operations.
- Other administrator duties
