We have additional offices located in Manchester, Lichfield, Wakefield, Norwich, Cardiff and Lewes. With a focus on regional site work there will be a requirement for travel and occasional overnight stays as part of these roles.

**To be considered for this role, you will have as essential criteria**:

- A full clean UK driving licence.
- Experience in ecological consultancy or equivalent sectors.
- Experience of ecological field survey work.
- Understanding of relevant UK environmental legislation.
- Membership of (or working towards such) the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), or equivalent professional body with professional code of conduct.

**Applications are particularly welcome from ecologists who meet the following desirable criteria**:

- Hold (or be working towards) one or more Natural England (or other equivalent) protected species licence and/or hold Field Identification Skills Certificate (FISC) Level 3 or above.
- Experience in preliminary ecological appraisals and/or UKHab surveys.
- Experience of managing projects to deadlines and budget.
- At least 3 years relevant experience.
