Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity to join a busy Marketing Team at one of the Fylde Coast’s largest employers. The Marketing Team at Blackpool Transport are responsible for all PR, advertising, and communications across both the Blackpool Transport and Blackpool Heritage Tram Tour brands. This is the perfect opportunity for someone either looking to start their marketing career or wanting to make their next career step. We’re specifically looking for someone who has a keen interest in content creation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Have a hands on involvement in executing multi channel marketing campaigns, including writing campaign briefs, copywriting and creating vibrant and engaging content.
- Contribute to the day-to-day management of our social media accounts such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, creating content and responding to our customers.
- Deliver a range of internal and external communications to a high standard, this includes internal staff notices, information about our services, timetable updates and customer announcements.
- You will take ownership of the content and performance of the Blackpool Transport and Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours websites.
- Be an advocate for the Blackpool Transport brand and company values, representing the company at promotional events, engagements internally, in our communities and also with our stakeholders.
- Manage and update customer related literature including timetables, maps, guides and other materials.
- Be responsible for all aspects of the department administration.

Qualifications:
Education/Qualifications/Knowledge

Qualification in English & maths at level 2 or above (Essential)

A basic understanding and keen interest in marketing principles (Essential)

Experience managing a social media account (Desirable)

Experience

Photography or video production (Desirable)

Aptitudes and Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Essential)

Can write and articulate complex messages in an audience appropriate manner (Essential)

A customer focused outlook (Essential)

Excellent I.T skills including word, excel, Outlook, PowerPoint (Essential)

Able to quickly adapt to changing demands and priorities (Essential)

Interest/experience in graphic design (Desirable)
