Senior Game Analytics Consultant

**The opportunity**:

The Unity Engine is a premier platform for a variety of different 2D and 3D real-time interactive media experiences across multiple platforms. From the business of gaming to Film, Animation and Visual Effects, and other pioneering AR/VR interactive experiences and Industrial Simulations.
As a Senior Game Analytics Consultant, you'll be the crucial link in connecting our clients with the insights they need to make data-driven decisions. You'll work closely with our game designers and other analysts, promoting standard processes and improving our clients' game performance metrics.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Engaging directly with clients to convert key data into valuable game performance statistics.
- Offering personalized advice on tracking schemas and strategic reporting plans.
- Performing comprehensive statistical analysis to discover robust connections between player behaviours and key outcomes, such as player churn and spending.
- Collaborating with the analyst and design teams to craft and implement data-driven recommendations aimed at boosting game performance.
- Delivering project outcomes via detailed written reports and impactful client presentations.
**What we're looking for**:
- A background in an analytic role, with a curiosity about mining insights from sophisticated datasets.
- Games industry experience.
- Proficiency in querying databases (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Vertica) with SQL.
- Have experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to passionately share insights with our clients.
**You might also have**:
- Expertise in statistical analysis/modelling using R, Python, or similar tools.
- Possess a keen curiosity about games and a validated understanding of the revenue models used in the gaming industry (e.g., premium pricing, micro-transactions, free-to-play, etc.)
