We are seeking an internal finance officer to support with a wide range of accounting duties for a well-established, growing financial services company in Jersey.
- Salary is dependent on experience
- Working Hours - Monday to Friday, 9AM - 5:30PM
- Benefits: Annual discretionary bonus scheme, agile working, health cover, life assurance, pension scheme, 29 days holiday + bank holidays

**As the Internal Finance Officer, you will be responsible for**:

- Carry out daily bank reconciliations - identifying, investigating, and resolving any discrepancies
- Maintaining the purchase ledger and actively manage the payment process, ensuring suppliers are paid on time
- Assisting with the billing of clients whilst monitoring the aged dept reporting
- Monitoring of timesheets, ensuring timely completion across the business
- Assisting with financial reporting to include management accounts and annual accounts
- Any other tasks as required

**The successful Internal Finance Officer will have the following related skills / experience**:

- Accounting support experience in the financial services industry
- An understanding of double entry bookkeeping
- Knowledge of accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail
