Role Objectives & Responsibilities
- To create relevant training and resources by selecting the most appropriate training methods and activities for all staff covering scopes within the Receptionist remit.
- To provide the smooth running of the Reception area solely or within a team while attending to visitors and dealing with enquiries.
- Our aim is to surpass expectation within all our given disciplines

Main Duties
- To pro-actively demonstrate and work to the Company's values of People, Passion, Fresh Thinking and Exciting Futures.
- Act as first point of contact, greet visitors and provide a professional reception service to residents and all people visiting the building.
- Provide helpful advice, guidance and information to visitors and residents and if not able to do so direct them to other members of staff who can assist.
- Monitor and maintain conference room bookings.
- Inform building residents of any post, parcels and or deliveries available to collect from reception.
- Monitor and maintain office stationary equipment.
- Monitor visitor access and identification checks to maintain security awareness.
- Maintain and issue of keys.
- Log IT and maintenance jobs.
- Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
- To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.

Visitor Duties
- Dealing with all aspects of visitors to the building.
- Issue of relevant visitor building passes.
- Booking visitor car parking bays.
- Directing visitors to the meeting rooms.
- Provide daily car parking bookings to the Harbour Commission.

General Duties
- Issue SOVA's / YOVA‘s for building residents in line with the Sellafield process.
- Daily issue of stationary to building residents.
- Maintain and issue of keys.
- Distribution of post and parcel deliveries for building residents.

Conference Rooms
- Booking of specific meeting rooms within the conference suite.
- Arranging layout changes to rooms as and when required.
- Arrange hospitality requests as and when required by the residents and client.
- Arrange I.T support as requested.
- Ensure that conference room housekeeping standards are maintained.

Training Coordinator
- Performing needs assessment to identify knowledge gaps and areas in need of improvement.
- Providing vital information about training sessions and informing personnel about available training.
- Liaising with Management and Client to create annual training plans.
- Researching and recommending new training techniques, creating the curriculum and updating it to reflect developments within the industry.
- Prividing any training supplies / materials to enhance the instruction programme.
- Arranging and supporting attendance for Fire Marshals and First Aid training.
