**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

**Contract/duration**:fixed term until 31 Dec 2024:
This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible.

What it's like to work here:We are recruiting for a small team of Service Assistants to help deliver excellent experiences and events at Bath Assembly Rooms. With a zero hours contract, we have flexibility on available hours and would discuss this more at the interview stage. This role will be particularly focused on evening and weekend working, along with typical school holiday periods.

Reporting to the Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll be part of a small team working at Bath Assembly Rooms. You’ll need passion and commitment to work at this fascinating property, however the variety and challenge of being part of the team offers many rewards.

What you'll be doing:Service Assistants play an important role in supporting various property teams in greeting and helping our visitors. No two days are the same and you can expect to meet lots of different people and help at an exciting variety of events for a wide range of audiences. You’ll be involved in different tasks. These could include greeting and interacting with visitors, stewarding events, and moving furniture to set up for the next event taking place. Manual handling and assisting with safe management of building, such as leading emergency evacuation procedures, will be a core aspect of this role.
