**Main duties of the job**:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Clinical fellow in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust at the Royal Free Hampstead site from 1/04/2023

**Working for our organisation**:
The successful applicant(s) will participate in clinical activities related to the assessment and management of obstetrics and gynaecology patients (eg. in-patient/ labour ward and theatre cover and out-patient general gynaecology and high risk antenatal clinics) and be involved in emergency work at Specialist Trainee (ST) 1-2 level. This is a very friendly and supportive Tertiary Level Unit dealing with a wide range of interesting conditions.

**Detailed job description and main responsibilities**:
Clinical experience and** **training in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology will be provided as required to align with the post-holders experience level and future career plans.

This post is initially for a 6 month period but may be extendable. This post will become **vacant from 1/4/2023**

**Education & professional Qualifications**:
**Essential criteria**:

- MBBS (or equivalent)
- Current full GMC Registration
- PLAB (if overseas Dr)

**Skills and aptitudes**:
**Desirable criteria**:

- Recent ALS Training
- Completion of CTG K2 package (or equivalent CTG training)

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Completion of FY training programme (or equivalent)

**Desirable criteria**:

- Previous experience working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

**Personal Qualities & attributes**:

- Effective team working
- Good command of English language written and spoken
