As a part of the Primark CRM team the Customer Data Acquisition Officer is responsible for the growth and management of Primark’s CRM database. As a global role you will work across our UK and international teams. You will work closely with the Customer Engagement Specialist, wider CRM team and the Digital team, to identify new opportunities that will help to grow our customer base and provide the first step in delivering a best-in-class personalised customer experience.

This role is vital for Primark to put our best foot forward to deliver our new Digital programme. You will work with relevant functional teams across the Primark business as part of the Primark CRM Team. You will be joining a fast paced, commercial environment, with the opportunity to work with key stakeholders within the Primark business.

The Customer Data Acquisition Officer will have the following responsibilities:

- Ideating and managing new campaigns that drive the acquisition of customer data.
- Ensuring our lead generation campaigns across paid media, are optimised, and aligned to our core KPIs.
- Establishing strong relationships with our Licence partners to help initiate and manage new opportunities to build or enrich our database.
- Working with our retail colleagues to support the delivery of our digital transformation in store
- Managing the reporting of the database, providing insights on data sources and the analysis of data acquisition campaigns.
- Monitoring the quality of customer data and ensure any issues are escalated and resolved with technology stakeholders.
- Ensuring all data is collected in compliance with GDPR and country specific laws.
- Supporting the Customer Engagement Specialist in the enrichment of 1st party data to develop segmentation and contact strategy.

Qualities
- Strong project manager, who can manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
- The ability to communicate fluently with a variety of stakeholders in different areas and at varying levels of seniority across business.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment; able to deliver solutions in face of unforeseen obstacles and challenging business requirements.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of GDPR and Data Protection Laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to cleanse and format data for processing.

Experience
- 2+ years’ experience working in a CRM team or supporting a CRM team with database management.
- Experience of building relationships with external stakeholders
- Deep understanding of 1st Party Data and how this can be applied in Digital Marketing
- Experience in creating reports, with the ability to provide analysis that can be understood by anyone.
- Experience in creating and maintaining platform governance, including process flows and naming conventions.
- Experience of Salesforce Lightning is advantageous but not required.
- Experience of data visualisation tools such as Tableau or SF Datorama is advantageous but not required.
