Role**:Senior Housing Officer**

**Salary**: £27.50 Umbrella

Type: Temp 4 Months - 35 Hours a Week.

Location: Surrey

The role of Senior Housing Officer will see you be highly visible to customers and be responsible for improving the lives and homes of the tenants.

Key duties include:

- Provide day to day support to staff with complex cases (such as ASB, rent arrears etc) through attending meetings with housing officers and drawing up action plans subsequently
- Manage a small number of our temporary accommodation schemes and provide support to residents living there
- Support staff to resolve complex complaints and monitor and manage the early resolution stage ensuring all actions are completed.
- Engage with customers to improve their satisfaction levels.
- Manage customer safety to ensure homes and environments are safe places to live.
- Deliver on performance for your patch, ensuring that all targets are surpassed, or putting plans in place to recover any performance failings.
- Where necessary deliver creative solutions to let properties that are more difficult to let, including effective use of void enhancement budgets
- Supporting and advising vulnerable customers who may be unable to maintain their homes.
- Put the values of the organisation at the heart of all interactions.
