Job Title: Young Person’s Homeless Advisor

**Salary**: £24,000-£26,000
Location: Hatfield
Contract: Permanent
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (3 days in the office and 2 days at home)

As a first point of contact for young and possibly vulnerable people in the Hertfordshire area who are seeking support, you will need to be resilient and hard working to make sure the best care is provided.

SKILLS REQUIRED
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Clear confident communication skills
- IT and admin experience
- Understanding of confidentiality with strict boundaries
- Planning, organisational and time management
- A flexible working approach
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Committed to work

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a varied load of work
- Offering realistic support and advice
- Carrying out assessments and liaise with third parties
- Develop and maintain strategies
- Chair and coordinate meetings for families, housing support and agencies
- Working with your team to create action plans
- Carrying out follow ups and write ups
