A significant aspect of this work includes transformation of theCAMHS; fundamental to this vision is the participation of the children, young people and parents/carers who use the service and engaging them to ensure they help to shape and inform the future delivery of services withinCAMHS. TheCAMHSParticipation Worker will work alongside the Associate Directorate Manager and the MHST Operational Managers in continuing to develop this vision.

Work with the 5 Mental health support teams to ensure children, young people and their families’ voices are represented to ensure continued improvement in the delivery of services
- Build and maintain a network of contacts with established services and projects for children and young people to ensure they are engaged throughout the project and able to assist with the development and delivery of the Services.
- Establish a sustainable framework for children, young people and their carers to voice their opinions and to influence service delivery.
- Provide regular feedback and reflection on the project in report and verbal forms for the Associate Directorate Manager and Directorate Meetings.

Maintain accurate and appropriate records of all work undertaken with service users, and produce reports as needed
- Develop and deliver young people and parent sessions in collaboration with the MHST’s
- Work with Young People to enable full implementation of the MHST Programme in Camhs including session by session monitoring and outcome measures

Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Pennine Care footprint, taking part in team meetings, organisational development, and being involved in Directorate wide events
- Work within Pennine Care’s policies and procedures, and support the Service Transformation Lead and MHST Service Leads to review and develop Young People led specific strategies
- Attend regular supervision with the Associate Directorate Manager or nominated officer and be willing to undertake training and professional development as needed
- Develop a network of young people volunteers to ensure sustained implementation of the young people’s voices across the directorate
